- Bachelor's Degree in Administration with emphasis in Financial Management from Universidad Nacional.
- Master's Degree in Administration with Emphasis in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC).
- Worked professionally for more than 17 years at Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, being Regional Manager for the last 12 years in different branches in Guanacaste and Puntarenas.
He has extensive experience in the management of retail banking and SMEs, as well as in the exercise of organizational leadership and management of highly effective work teams.
For the past two years, he has been teaching the Financial Analysis and Finance I courses of the Master's Degree in Management and Public Finance at CINPE. He also has teaching experience in technical, high school, and undergraduate courses at public and private universities.
He has taught more than 33 courses in Administration, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Accounting at the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica UACA in its high school and undergraduate curricula, as well as technical courses for the Fundación del Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica FUNDATEC, in the Economics area of the Business Administration Technician program.
