Created in 1999 as a response to the already advanced opening procedure and irregular trade activity. It is strongly oriented to the incorporation and administration of companies into the globalization process.
The graduate of this master’s degree will have the ability to comprehend, describe, and interpret the reality of companies and institutions related to international trade. Furthermore, they will have the tools to create strategies and business plans, negotiation skills, and propositions on the business and institutional fields, searching for the improvement of companies' competitiveness, products and service quality. All is made in a strengthening context of management competitiveness on the operational and strategic scope.
Purpose of the master’s degree
This master’s degree was created in 1999 as a response to the already advanced opening procedure and irregular trade activity. It is strongly oriented to the incorporation and administration of companies into the globalization process. Under this context, the program proposes the creation of a comprehensive vision of the external sector and any foreign goods or services; It will focus on the integration of several social, economic, environmental, and political-institutional elements that allow a complete comprehension of the relationships between them.
To whom is it addressed
Professionals in areas related to the economy, business administration, and international trade. It also targets those who have areas of study related to international trade and business sector management, related to the multidisciplinary character of the program.
Professional Profile
Given the integrated professional development acquired through the program courses, the graduate of this master’s degree will have the ability to comprehend, describe, and interpret comprehensively the reality of companies and institutions related to international trade. Also, they will create strategies and business plans for any current globalized process. It is expected that graduates will have a high chance of being absorbed by the job market. It is also expected that after the program, graduates will be able to improve their professional career to higher-responsibility positions, interpret the role of any agent involved in the decision-making process, and create recommendations on the business and institutional field, searching for the improvement of companies' competitiveness, products, and services quality; Those recommendations will focus specially in the management and administration of any foreign-located business.
Academic Requisites
- Those able to access this master’s degree must have at least a bachelor’s or a degree in economics, business administration, international relations, law, customs administration, trade and international business, or any related career. The ones mentioned previously will be subject to an analysis by CINPE’s Academic Management Committee. Also, a certain domain of the English language is required.
Administrative Requisites
- Application for entrance.
- Payment receipt for entrance rights (when needed).
- Copy of the university degree on both sides. In the case of degrees obtained in a foreign country, they must be correctly apostilled. Degrees in any other language that’s not Spanish must be completely translated.
- Copy of the current ID. Foreign students must send a copy of their current passport.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Supporting document of your instrumental domain in English (certificate or sworn statement). The sworn statement does not require being authenticated by a lawyer.
- Academic history of your last career.
- A recent picture in JPG format with a white background.
- Two recommendation letters according to the format stipulated by the Teaching Program (PD). One of professional character and the other of administrative character.
- An interview with the postgraduate studies coordinator. An appointment will be arranged in agreement with the student.
Investment
The required investment to take the program it’s of USD 4.500. Additionally, the student must cancel the tuition fees to the Universidad Nacional each year.
