Researcher and full-time teacher of the International Center for Economic Policy and Sustainable Development (CINPE) from 1996 until now. Is responsible for the Integrated Program for the Analysis of Rural Area Development’s coordination with its productive sectors, and linking public policies inside the research areas of policies for rural and local development. His research areas delve into topics such as development concerns in territories classified as rural, production and integration management of rural markets from an empirical theoretical-conceptual perspective of the New Institutional Economics, and the analysis of public policies with their dynamics.
Furthermore, He performs as both the research director and coordinator of the PhD program in Economic Policy of CINPE. He has held two research postdoc positions and several research stays at different universities in Europe.
On the Teaching Program, he develops as a professor in postgraduate studies, such as Institutional Economics, Public Policies, Research Techniques, Applied Research Seminar, Development Theories, and Negotiation Techniques.
