Seminar on Productive Policies with a Sectoral Focus 

The International Center of Economic Policy for Sustainable Development (CINPE) at the National University (UNA), as part of its Doctoral Program in Economic Policy, invites the academic community, professionals, students, and the general public to participate in the Seminar on Productive Policies with a Sectoral Focus.

This event aims to foster academic dialogue and reflection on the challenges in the design and implementation of productive policies aimed at promoting sustainable, inclusive, and resilient national and regional development.

The seminar will feature prominent international experts who will share their perspectives on topics related to economic policy, innovation, competitiveness, and regional development, contributing to the analysis of current development challenges in Latin America.

Speakers

Dr. Alejandro Hernández-Luis
Program Director of the Specialization in Public Policy Design at FLACSO Ecuador. His presentation will address the design and formulation of public policies aimed at promoting sustainable, inclusive, and resilient national and regional development.
Dr. Gustavo Crespi
Senior Specialist in Competitiveness, Technology, and Innovation at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). His presentation will focus on the analysis of economic policy, instruments, and market failures related to productive development and innovation.
Dr. Jorge Mario Martínez Piva
Acting Director of the subregional office of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Mexico. His presentation will address productive policies aimed at addressing regional and territorial inequalities.
